The Owners of this one-story ranch house wished to expand the living areas and solve the ongoing problem of flooding in the basement garage. A new dining room and garage wing was added. The garage was elevated above the street, and a new family room added above the garage. The split level design allowed the new additions to blend with the existing roof lines, and the transition to the existing structure accomplished with the projecting dining room.
